III.13 What are the prerequisites for becoming a public prosecutor?
The prerequisites for becoming a public prosecutor
are as follows:
- be a Portuguese national;
- be fully able to enjoy the civil and political rights;
- hold a degree in Law granted by a Portuguese university or valid inPortugal
- have attended courses and trainings successfully; and
- comply with any other prerequisites laid down in the law for appointment of public servants.
