III.3 In which law?

The public prosecution service enjoys autonomy as regards other bodies of the central, regional and local power.
Its autonomy is characterised by its compliance with strict criteria of legality and objectivity, and by the exclusive submission of the prosecutors to directions, orders and instructions laid down in the Statute of the prosecution service.
The autonomy of the prosecution service is enshrined in sects. 219(2) Constitution and 2 Statute of the prosecution service, in the wording given by Act 60/98.
