IV.3 What are his main tasks in administrative law?
In administrative law the public prosecutor
represents the State, defends the democratic legality and promotes the
protection of the public interest. Furthermore, he has legitimacy to propose
and intervene in main cases aiming at the defence of values and property
constitutionally protected, such as public health, environment, urbanism, land
and country planning, quality of life, cultural property and estate belonging
to the State, the Autonomous Regions and the local authorities (sect. 51
Statute of the Administrative and Taxation Courts).
