III.12 On what grounds?
According to sect. 22 Law on the Prosecutor’s Office, the Prosecutor
General shall be dismissed from office:
- upon handing in his resignation;
- upon expiry of the term of office or when he reaches retirement age;
- if he is unable to fulfil his duties for health reasons;
- if he is elected to another office or transferred with his consent to another job;
- if he loses citizenship of the Republic;
- if he breaches the oath by his action; or
- upon the entry into force of a judgment of conviction against him.
