II.3 Does the executive have the right to give instructions – in any way – to the prosecution?

The Prosecutor General is accountable for his activities to the President and the Seimas (Parliament). The Seimas sets the priorities for the activities of the prosecutor’s office and exercise parliamentary control over the activities (sect. 4 Law on the Prosecutor’s Office).
