IV.13 Is the continuing training mandatory for public prosecutors?

In so far as public prosecutors must be practising solicitors or barristers they must be enrolled on the register of their respective professional bodies. In practice this normally means that they will have undertaken and passed the legal education and exams set by these bodies. There is no separate or additional programme for public prosecutors.
