Suspension of investigation which is a temporary
measure for stopping the investigation due to an interim hindrance such as:
- the serious illness of the suspect;
- when the whereabouts of the suspect are unknown;
- the suspect remaining unknown during the investigation; and
- when the authorities have sent a request for legal assistance to a foreign country, etc.
