I.17 On what main grounds can non-prosecution take place?
Partial non-prosecution (partial waiver of prosecution) is an express manifestation of the expediency principle.
The prosecutor may dismiss the case against a collaborating suspect or undercover officer after the conclusion of the investigation. The preconditions are the same as in the case of rejecting a report. See Q 3-6.
