II.14 In which ways?

The executive can exercise influence through the training organised by the National School of Judges and Prosecutors and by appointing the students who have finished the School successfully to corresponding positions. The function of the School is provided by Law 2236 of 1994, as amended by later enactments. The students and future judges and prosecutors are selected by entrance examinations from among persons who have a law degree and have completed their 25th year of age. The education is both theoretical and practical. The persons teaching in the School are university professors and judges of the Supreme Courts (Areios Paghos, the Council of State and the Court of Accounts). A proportion of the students who complete their studies successfully are appointed as public prosecutors.
