III.7 Who is the highest official in the prosecution service?

The Federal Prosecutors General (Generalbundesanwalt) for the Federation and the Prosecutor General (Generalstaatsanwalt) for each district of a State Court of Appeals. But they are subject to instructions of the relevant Minister of Justice.
