II.2 In this respect, what is the contribution of the prosecution service?
The priorities for the year 2005 have been set by
the PO and the police based on discussions,
and they have been accepted by the Ministry of Justice and Ministry of
Interior.
The Ministry of Justice is responsible for making a law enforcement plan and thePO has to make a
contribution in those areas linked to its tasks. Thus, the PO
participates in drafting the plan and gives its opinion on all relevant draft
regulation.
The heads of thePO
and police do meet on a structural and regular basis but convene meetings when
topics of common interest arise.
