IV.9 What is the name and what is the website of the professional organisation?

There is no national professional organisation for public prosecutors as such, but apart from DJØF there are several smaller associations. The Chief Constables are organised in The Association of Chief Constables in Denmark, Foreningen af politimestre i Danmark. The regional prosecutors form the very small and select The Association of Regional Prosecutors, Foreningen af statsadvokater (not all statsadvokater are strictly speaking regional prosecutors; in addition to the six regional prosecutors the rank of statsadvokat is granted to the head of Serious Fraud Office, Statsadvokaten for særlig økonomisk Kriminalitet, and two senior officials in the Attorney General’s Office). The junior prosecutors, i.e. all prosecutors below the rank of statsadvokat or Chief Constable, are organised in the Politifuldmægtigforeningen, the largest organisation.
