I.13 Which coercive measures?
The prosecutor alone is authorized:
- to order securing of the property of the charged person and to determine which means and things are not concerned or to abolish such a securing;
- to take measures in ensuring the claims of the damaged person for compensations of the damages and to limit or abolish such measures or to exclude a thing from the scope of such measures;
- to order exhumation of the dead body;
- to propose extradition of the charged from abroad;
- to execute preliminary investigation in proceedings on extradition abroad;
- to propose to judge take an offender into preliminary detention;
- to propose to judge to order perquisition;
- to order perquisition of non-residential space and estates;
- to order personal perquisition or to give an approval for police;
- to order withdraw the thing important for criminal procedure;
- to order freezing money on banking account or securities, suspention, opening, replacement, monitoring delivery (package or letter, etc.);
- to propose to judge to tape and record phone callings; and
- to stop the investigation.
