I.11 In which cases?

In all cases the prosecutor can be involved from the beginning. The public prosecutor is the statutory head of investigation and is empowered to interfere in the police investigation process from its commencement. The public prosecutor can not only decide on priorities in the investigation, but has also the competence to give instructions to police.
